About Us
Our History
Founded in early 2000 by two entrepreneurs and ski enthusiasts, Anthony Collins and Dermot McNally, our goal was to create the world's number one online ski holiday company by offering quality ski holiday product through a variety of online channels.
In October 2000, we launched Directski.com, which has since grown to be the number one online ski tour operator in the UK and Ireland. In 2006, we acquired Ski McNeill, Northern Ireland's largest and most respected ski travel agency. Combined, these two consumer brands carried in excess of 30,000 ski passengers in the 2007-08 ski season.
In addition to our two consumer brands, we also supply ski holiday product to a number of leading travel companies in the UK and internationally. This aspect of our business has gone from strength to strength and, in July 2008, we created B2BSki as a dedicated business-to-business (B2B) operation within our company.
Our head office is in Dublin and we also have an office in Belfast. During the ski season, we have staff located in all our main ski destinations.

Our company has received many accolades since it launched in 2000 including Best eCommerce Implementation (SME) at the 2005 ICT Excellence Awards, Best Tour Operator in the 2003 Travelmole Travel & Tourism Web Awards. In 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, we were recognised as one of Europe's fastest growing companies in the Deloitte Fast 50 and Fast 500 awards.

We are profitable, well financed company whose financial backers include ACT Venture Capital, Ireland's leading Venture Capital fund, and Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government agency responsible for the development and promotion of the indigenous business sector.
We are a licensed and bonded Tour Operator. We operate under licence from the Irish government (licence number is TO172) and the UK's Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL number 5653).
